Creating my Own Blog

Creating this blog was very simple to say the least. Before this class I was never really into using my Google account for anything more than just Gmail. After having explored a few of the different applications that Google offers, I have found myself exploring each and every one of them. This blogger was actually fun for me because this is something that I used to do as a teenager. I had accounts on MySpace and LiveJournal where I used to dabble in writing my own HTML to design the layout for my personal websites. It was much easier creating this blog rather than writing my own coding for my layout designs, but it was fun getting to look through different layouts and adjusting them to fit my preference. It was easy to set up the RSS Feeds once I found a few that I really liked that related to my preschool classroom. The links were easy to add since we have used so many of them during this class. I would love to use this type of blog at my child care center but first I would have to get permission from my corporate office. It would be a great way to bring the 100+ families at my center together.
